Between 5th July and 24th September 2017, the city of Wolverhampton was gripped by wolf fever as 'Wolves in Wolves', the largest ever public art event took place in the city.
30 wolves were in place at different locations across the city including Wolf No.22 'Sacred Grandfathers' (by Jasyn Lucas), which was displayed at the Light House Media Centre and was extremely popular with patrons.
On 2nd November 2017, 15 of the Wolves were auctioned off at Molineux Stadium where they raised tens of thousands for charity.
Wolf 01. 'Wild' (by Stef Fridael) had been displayed in Wolverhampton Art Gallery and was purchased by Wulfrun Consulting to be displayed as a mascot inside our office.
But 'Wild' was not the only wolf to be heading for the Chubb Buildings...
The final auction lot of the evening was 'Sacred Grandfathers' and the Wulfrun Consulting team were extremely lucky to successfully secure him for a return to public display in the Light House.
